What ticking it turns on today. Automatic problem reports. If a page fails on our side while you are signed in, a support ticket is opened in your name with the page address (never anything after a “?”), the kind of error, the time, a reference number and your browser type. Never what you typed, your password or your card.
Where it goes. Into Crossroad Sellers' own support system, on the platform's own servers. Only the platform's support staff read it. The auction house does not see it. It is never sold, never shared with another company and never used for advertising. You can read it, and reply to it, under My Tickets in Help.
Usage analytics. We do not collect any yet. If we start, it will cover only which pages you open, the kind of device and how long pages take, kept by us, and this panel and the data policy will say so first.
Whether you tick it or not. When a page fails, the error itself goes to Sentry, the error-monitoring service we use, with personal details removed, so the fault can be fixed.
Changing your mind. Any time, under Your Account, Privacy and Data. Turning analytics off also turns off automatic problem reports.
